BIOI started with Artmatic in 2003. Originally I bought it when I switched to OSX to replace the Kai's Powertools texture-explorer plugin, that I used in photoshop to generate quick textures. I soon found out, that it was a very complex application, with the ability to generate many different kinds of images. I also realised that it was difficult to control and master. Actually, Artmatic is one of the most difficult applications I have ever used ( = a lot!).
Stubborn as I am, I have just kept building stuctures, trying to figure out how the individual tiles worked inside an Artmatic tree.
During this process, I have rendered hundreds of images. Now that Artmatic have it's own gallery at Renderosity, I decided to post some of these images here, to share with other people. The artmatic-systems I use is mostly quite simple, because I want to know, what is going on. On the other hand, I also like when the images has a strong and simple graphic visual expression.

Bio:
I am a freelance webdesigner, graphic designer, a soundartist and experimental musician from Denmark.
As a musician I use a Wacom drawingpad as my main instrument. I have developed this instrument so that it generates sound and visuals at the same time.
My homepage:
www.brandt-pedersen.dk
(You won't find any Artmatic there, sorry)

Great experimentation, nonetheless, and who knows what one will find when you consider the versatility of the program when matched with the human mind. ESPECIALLY one who does some great AMPro works, such as yourself. I was wondering what YOUR ideas about this one were. How do you see this one? The "start of a great direction" would be my evaluation.............I have noticed that you try a lot of different ideas out. I think that is definitely time well spent as you seem to find places that others have either overlooked or just haven't got there yet. I will patiently wait and see where you take this.......................well, as patiently as one who finds the pace of time to be dragging as I get older...lol........ for the magnificent experimentation I would give it a great score, as I know that from this point on the map your gonna take us all somewhere interesting and new with it.............................................gene
