Having trained at college in photography and fine art about 20 years ago, I have been involved within the digital medium for about 15 years. My work has ranged from developement of rendering technology, to Renderman compliant shader programming onto tutorial writing and image/animation creation as a humble freelancer.
It is always said, that to be at your most creative you have to smell the roses once in a while as well. Me?...well my roses are travelling, kiteboarding and soaking in the beauty of nature and the people that surround me. Thanks for looking, stay safe and dont forget to smell your roses every now and then ;)

Spectacular light and sky and mood! I love the view, and the terrain and surface- colors and texture, are beautiful, as is the water. Excellent work!

Nothing to critique, except the clouds are a little heavy, maybe. I do love the color saturation, which works great on the top notch surfaces and water. Really lovely work!

Agree with Steve. Surfaces and water are really excellent

Surfaces and water are outstanding!! The clouds are over-saturated too much for my taste, but otherwise excellent render. I think this would look better with a nice clear sky, just my opinion.

Agree with the comments above. A very good picture !

Thank you so much for all the comments everybody. I tend to agree about the clouds and am working on it at the moment. My main objective was for when people look at the picture, they would almost squint when looking at the sun...I hope it worked. I really do recommend that people try the HDRI export from the SoPack plugin...it does give so much flexibilty. If you don't have Photoshop CS2, you can always download HDRShop to change exposures. Once again, thank you for all your comments...it is appreciated very much.
