Description

Looks almost like an oil painting to me! This is TJ Lake. One of the lakes in the Mammoth Lakes Basin, in the Eastern Sierras. Thanks to all who commented on my last wild post 'Liquid Van Gogh' I am so glad you enjoyed!

gorgeous imagery!!! the lake is ecspecially beautiful (here's a tip that i have found works well... if you have a desaturation tool, work small & you can remove the blue fringe from around the top of the tree :)

Beautiful scenery. The lake and the surrounding forrest makes a very peaceful impression - add in a majestic mountain in the background and you've got an excellent image!

this brings back memories!! when i was a kid we would live at these lakes in the summer in mammoth was Dad built condos there in the 70s for the ski resort ...we would camp all summer long in places like this this is a GORGOEUS SHOT WOW going to my faves V~!
