Description
As their deadly gas drifts through the streets, the Martians sail through the city unopposed as they continue their take-over- unaware that their victory would be short-lived...
The Martian model had been lurking around in my library for a year now, and with all the Sonja projects done- at least for now- I've started digging around to see what I actually have.
The city is a dystopia piece- I know I spelled that wrong. The cars and tank are from various sites including 3dpmr and the Lightwave group. The lights were added in photoshop.

Next time you watch the movie, You'll see the miliary brief the newsmen and they draw a diagram on a chalkboard- a diagram of triangles. The eye piece that Gene Barry brings back is divided in threes- and they talk about the pods coming down in threes.

Probably the single most important aspect you could do to improve this is to adjust the scale of your people. If the street lights are 20 feet tall that would make the woman 10 feet tall. And the guy just across the street is huge compared to an army tank just down the street. and, of course, continue to have fun. : )

I cannot argue with any of that. In an image like this, I always have trouble getting the scales right.

Good fun here. I think that you're on your way, with a bit more practice you'll be able to nail scenes like this very easily.
