This image was inspired by the Jorge Luis Borges poem "Patio" which contains the line "Serenly eternity waits by the crossways of the stars." Earlier this week knowing that poem and line helped me win a contest of sorts, so I felt compelled to do an "inspired by" piece. For a while I was thinking of putting that quote into the image itself (probably on the moon), but I decided against it.
