BIOHi there creative ones. My name is Diana and I grew up in a small town called Forest Park, about 9 miles west of Chicago. (I still live here. ;-}) I am a professional dog walker in several western burbs, so you will see my photos of my furry clients. Of course I can't help but notice all of natures wonders and try to capture them on film.
I do what I can with the equipment I have. In the summer months I find myself looking at everything wondering how it would look on film.
I hope you all enjoy my work in progress, all comments are welcome and apprieciated.
IN ORDER TO PLEASE THE MODERATORS HERE ALL PHOTOS WILL BE TAKEN BY MY OWN HAND/CAMERA. WHICH MEANS A FEW WEB CAM PICS. lol

Yes, so sad. And unacceptable. Not in this day and age with the abundent technology available we have at our disposal. My son was also diagnosed with cancer and given no hope without following a painful lengthy treatment program which would only yield a minut percentage of hope. With help of a wonderful organization he was sent overseas for treatment the US hasn't approved. Rapid and near painless therapy now has him in remission and doing wonderfully. Amazing that.. isn't it? But, the therapy provided him was by comparison to what was being offered as a last hope, inexpensive and speedy. Even more sad.. illness is big business.. and bigger profit margins. Excellent shot and sends a message we should all absorb and take a 0 tolerance stand against.

Doctors and medics are human, so they may err. Staff in hospitals have to perform like workers everywhere else. It's a stressful job, and we should appreciate what they are doing. Still mistakes like this should never happen, and when they do, they should be admitted at once. The problem with the US is that people sue for such incredible sums, thanks to those shark lawyers you have. This medic made an error (although I cannot fathom how they could have used an infected needle). They should have admitted their mistake and been forgiven ten years ago. Of course there should be substantial financial compensation. But hospitals should not worry about culpability. They should be there to heal the sick and not to make money. The tragedy of your son was not that he died because someone was careless, but because the hospital denied their staff made a mistake. These things happen all over the world, including in my country, Belgium. I am ever so sorry and extend my deepest sympathy.

FORGIVE ME PLEASE. ARE YOU SAYING THAT THIS PERSON DIED AS A RESULT FROM AN INFECTION GAINED OR GLEANED FROM THOSE WORKING IN THE MEDICAL FEILD? HOW SAD. AGAIN FORGIVE ME, DID YOU KNOW THIS PERSON? AS WITH CHIPS, I EXPRESS MY HEARTFELT SYMPATHY TO THE FAMILY. SNOW.
