Description

These hardworking men were very nice to us, they were also very poor; they had some colored rocks as souvenirs, all they asked was a little donation for their children school desks. I got one and gave them a dollar, they asked me how many I wanted. I ended up buying 20 dollars worth of rocks.

This is a very compelling photo. Great Journalistic value without words. Bless your generosity to these hard-working folk. Good for you! Miners are not slackers.

I have nothing but admiration for these tough, tough men. The photo itself is good too -- compositionally a little flat but it's got so much emotional depth packed into it that it more than makes up for that. 5 stars.
