I like this image as it is, but maybe some would like to see a sun instead of a shaft of light behind the mountain.

Design is really about communication, what is that you want this image to say? Also dont forget photo shop, I usually run all my renders through, just to see what kind of surprises are in store. Nice work!!!

This is stunning and perhaps if you wish more intense colors, a bit of change to the gamma settings either in TG, (in your render settings, change the gamma to 1 or 1.4) in PSP, there is a gamma adjustment in your adjustment settings. :) that shaft of sunlight almost looks as if the mountiain is being hit by a sun flare. Excellent work and clear water...

The water needs work. It looks pretty flat. Other than that, the mountains are a bit generic in the sense that a million other computer generated mountains look like that. Not at all natural. I'd give you advice how to fix it, but I don't use Terragen.

The water is very impressive, but I don't think you need so much of it. I love the atmosphere, but perhaps you could up the contrast a bit; the overall haze is pretty powerful. All-in-all, an excellent render.

I use terragen..but im not and expert. there is a lot better than me on rendo that could help. but I will put my 3 cents worth since you ask, personally I tried to cut down on the glare of the sun on the water, as I discover that less is more. and it can be done ..in the water reflection section. and the hazeI like haze but not all over the picture ..more or les in the horizon or on a corner.it is true that most mountain all look the same in terragen but they can represent something sometimes. as this one does. all together I like it ,, I would put it in Photoshop and see what happened ,,you can only fiddle so much in terragen,, and than it is time to pull your hairs out and start screaming keep up the good work..

You need more shadows extended from the spires of the mountains. The lights reflection extends from where the water meets land, but it looks too wide. Narrow it up a bit and maybe extend the light source higher.
