This was created from a DEM of the Tetons.
I had intended on entering this in the Sept. challenge, but I wasn't quite happy with it. :O)

Love the shadow work. I see what you mean. It gives the feeling that winter is coming rather than spring. Maybe too much brown for spring or the darkened sky seems more wintery. Title not withstanding, a excellent render..
