Description
this is the first damage i saw today beside a tranformor blowing up late night[sorry I miss that shot]
I stay at my son house and the lights went out around 11:30pm. I fell a sleep. and wake up to see it stop raining and most the winds die out. at times it came back as a ban came our way.
This tree fell down about a block frome my son house and took out the wires and phone lines of the neightor hood. some wirwe men came by and say they had a report of one wire down. They going to report it for it will take three trucks to do the job.
my son took the shoot of me by the roots I took the shot of what the tree took out and it just miss that car.
I ok I at home now with the lights on at my house . my son is without lights.

I saw scenes like that twice last year in Florida from Frances and Jeanne...Two weeks without elctricity..that's why I moved to Santa Fe=))) Great pics,,bad memories..Glad you're ok =)

we never even got a drop of rain from it! It was so fortunate that it decreased in strength before land fall or there would be no houses left. glad that you and your family are safe

same thing in my neighborhood, Jock..no power for a couple of days..then no internet or cable for a day and half...how did people manage before tv and internet..i went nuts! thanks for sharing these pics with us..glad you are safe! *

Thanks for capturing and sharing this with the world. Hard to believe nature's storms sometimes do this kind of damage, yet somehow nature never seems as distructive as human kind has been on occasion. Glad you are okay and have lights and hope your son's are trued back on soon. Take care! ~Vote~
