Description

Zooming in on yesterday's Dom (4545 m, 14911 ft) we can distinguish some 'minor' mountains in front of this giant (from left to right): the Nadelhorn (4327 m, 14196 ft), the Stecknadelhorn (4241 m, 13914 ft) and the Hohberghorn (4219 m, 13842 ft). I love to stare at these almost untouched landscapes, where man meets nature as his more powerful opponent. These places can be visited but will never be used for growing wheat, no cattle will find here grass to eat. A little arctic nature in the middle of Europe! Enjoy your Sunday! Minolta X-700 (Fuji Sensia 100, 300 mm) Thanks for your attention and your always valuable comments

Wow! Even that word is not descriptive enough for this! Nature at it's most rugged and powerful, not to be trifled with, but respected and appreciated.
