This friday evening i went on a task to try and capture some "silky water"....only to find that the river was completely dry...sigh....I did however stumble across this old carriage by a lake on my way home. It was quite an impressive sunset and for once i used my flash to try and capture something other than just silhouettes. I never uses my flash capturing moments like this, so i

Amazing, a nice contrast between foreground and the dramatic sunset, the reflections are looking almost like a fire, very well done!

You called it on this one! It turned out really neat, I love the way the carriage is lit up in the foreground, and in the background you have that sunset reflection in the lake. The composition focus, everything is perfect, nope can't find anything wrong with this, Just plain beautiful! Thank you for sharing this with us Andreas! 8-)

that sky is by far the sickest! if I could though, and i hate to even say it. I would crop the bottom of this pic. The grass in the forground is great but the flash reflected on it I think takes away from the feeling of "natural" or being in nature, or taking away from sacred light of that sunset by injecting something mechanized. I think if you went right up to the bottom of the wheel, or just above it's bottom edge, that would be good. Sorry I hate to critisize, cause i love your work and i still think your one of the top 5 or 3 photographers I've ever seen. sorry.
