Description
This is the 'show-drop' for "Gypsy".It shows all the various vaudeville and burlesque theatre circuits that Gypsy Rose Lee travelled on during her career which is what the play is all about along with 'Miss Vaudeville'and various theatre marqees. A show drop is a canvas painting which was 15'x35' that is lowered between various scenes of a play to hide set changes, etc for the audience to look at.
I started on "Gypsy" after I finished "Omnium Gatherum"-it took 3 weeks but I cheated and in the final week worked 9am-5am gaining an extra week. This pi\aintinting took 2-3-days.

I do all compositing etc with LW.I suppose I could learn Photoshop or something but I am just faster in LW.In the case of theatre things like this -size is very important so I make obj, letters and all in modeller and arrange them in layout which I cannot do in a flat program because of it's variable scale.I do a picture like this and also 1 with a 1'x1' grid pattern over it to draw from.
