Description

This is an excersize in color/mood and lighting. The skin is Jose by Sharara, sweetened with Hyperreal for M3, and further sweetened even more using an OBL map of my own creation. I used the same OBL map as the reflection in the eyes. I added the reflections manually to the corneas and whites and tweaked and tugged until they looked like something. After all that, the rendering nearly killed my computer, but finally, after 2 hours I had a good base image in which to start some postwork. (The best part) Hair was painted with my new tablet (never used one until recently, and I highly recommend it). I drew the hair on one layer, duplicated, shadowed and textured on several others. Like my other Close-up in my gallery, this image ended up being more than 25 layers before it jumped up and said "I'm Done!". I hope you like it.

I know better and I STILL want to know where you took the picture of that man. OMG, he's beautiful...everything about him is beautiful. From his pose to his expression to the realism of the skin pores and freckles on his nose. I think this goes beyond "amazing" and into "perfection." So that's my rating. PERFECT!!!

WOW....what a fabulous job you have doen with him. The reflections of the sun in his eyes are just wonderful. All his textures and wonderful. Excellent work !!! I barely understand a word of what you describe above as having done to get him to this place, but, hey, the outcome is sensational. LOVE IT. VOTE
