Description
Today I walked through the woods and I found this mushroom. As far as I can remember I never saw this species before and I don't know yet what it is. This mushroom is about 20 centimeters (7 inch) high and almost the same width. The color is an unusual kind of brown... the color of rotten meet, but this mushroom was not rotten at all... So.. what is it.. who can help..

where did it grow, on rotten wood or in the ground? it looks very good, even without knowing the name. great picture.there is a lot of mushroom info on the internet, with pictures and all. perhaps you find there the answer or they can inform you, if you send it there.
