Description
The paint scheme on this is nto based on a real one. I was doing a paint job based on a museum piece and the color was dark brown I made an artistic decision and decided that the dark brown looked too much like poo. I might do Ernest Udets plane later.
The Seimens and Shukert was a high performance plane for the time that could outclimb anything but the engine in it was not very reliable.
Modeled in Wings Textured in Painter and Photoshop. Rendered in Bryce. (UV mapped in UV mapper classic)

Another wonderful job, Dan. The only thing I would suggest, would be maybe a figure- the pilot- standing nearby. Otherwise excellent work again!

Like the Udet. This is great. After I saw the Udet, I decided to look at your gallery. The DIV is my favorite German plane of WWI, my all-time fave being the Sopwith Pup. The colour scheme seems realistic and the form is DEFINITELY SS DIV! This is the stuuf I love to see!

Great model of a little known aircraft from the "war to end all wars".
