Description

Here's an update on my DR-1 I have decide to model it after Lothar von Richthofen's color scheme, with a few changes. I still have a little way to go I have to finish up the center struts and there is a complicated metal piece that goes under the machine guns.

Check the two top wing, front nose struts. It looks like they need to come down to meet the top of the fuselage in a few of your images.

Lothar Von Rictoffen half the kills of Manfred but twice the attitude. Despite being the reckless one he was the one who survived the war. Lothar does have a very Gaudy paint scheme. Good to see something besides red. Nice work on the materials for the engine it looks great.

I think you can get a bit more out of the renderer with a modest increase in time once it is final. Go more for model precison and go easy on the indirect light to avoid half day renders. The model itself is fun to watch develop. Something so well known and often done is a mastery once finished.
