Description
One of the finest cars ever built, Mercedes 300SL 'gull-wing'. It was a purposly built race car that was made street legal and there were about 1400 made. Dan pitted with me this weekend and started its racing history this past weekend, kinda scary because this car could be worth $1,000,000 if fully restored, right now about $500,000. Dan did about 8 sessions on the track and left Sunday without a scratch. All day long we had spectators in the pits asking question and taking pictures. What's really awesome is it had only about 30,000 original miles.

Damn!!!! What an awesome car!!!! and that's one helluva shot too, Mark! i can't believe it has such low mileage!!!!!! What a DREAM!!!! :) Anyway, let me stop drooling and tell you i really like your presentation!!!! fantastic! what's that white rectangle behind the car, Mark? i might be tempted to clone that, and the rest of the background out (except for the road lines) to give it a much more dramatic presentation. But i do really enjoy the way you did it!!! Very nice shooting, presentation, and lucky you!!!! :)

Nice 300 but to me Citroen beats all of them, DS models were so much in fron of all the rest most of the things today people are using like steer lights and all that kind of stuff, o do not take me wrong Mercedes is fine car but it just not to my idea, yes it is fast it is sive and all that but then it just car with name most of inventions they use from others just like the rest, I know most of you going to kill me now hehehhe but Mercedes use to be in front of the pack from 50 that is why I do give them credit but no more it is just the name like some other cars with price sticker too much, I would love to drive some of the old cars, I had chance to drive McLaren man that is fast but old cars are the best, nice work man.
