i did both of these before i had the bonus pack so i used pheonix wings and laroos horns and tail and the outfit from DMM productions..
i did this a week or 2 ago...I had a real nice render of neomeas new character Nessa i was working on but poser kept crapping out..curious labs suggestion was to upgrade my video drivers so they sent me on a wild goose chase to upgrade and it turned into a ridiculous search for something that totally shut down my computer..then when i told them what had happened he said it must have been a different card that has the new poser upgrades(idiot)..then finding i had no restore points set, i had to call a tech in to help me put it all back together($$$$$$)..so i started using Dazstudio..they sent me a letter saying they had put out the new completed version and i should upgrade..well once again i upgraded and bryce and dazstudio wont work now..when discussing this with the tech at daz..he said that i needed to upgrade bryce to 5.5c first or i would have problems..why the F*ck couldnt they have told me that first before they screwed my whole 3D setup into the ground.i am a little more than upset...

OH My Gosh this is beautiful! I really love the hair treatment you did..and the entire image is just very cute and magical. I'm so sorry about your troubles. I have an instinct about upgrading, now that I've done alot of that and been in the same boat you are. I think they make it so you feel obsolete and are forced into purchasing more product. I'm trying to get self sufficient in most aspects, it's going to take time. TIME.. Tears in My Eyes LOL

Bill, your explanation of the tech support runaround is priceless. I'm laughing out loud because I can totally relate to your experience. Most people who work in tech support are utterly clueless and generally give you information that is more harmfull than good. I often wonder the people developing these products actually use them. Before embarking on a major fix, I always do a complete system backup where I image the disk so that I can restore to the previous state in the likely event that I get hosed by bulls**t advice. By the way, lovely renders on both of these.

You poor bugger Bill, bloody computers, I have to sit in from of one all day for a living drawings coloured lines on a black background in the shape of building structures, and when the mother f#@kers don't go... but that's another story... Hope you get your system back soon, I know the frustration. These images are brilliant, first the guardian angel that looks over you while you're rendering happily along, and the other is the little devil ready to f#$k it all up with hardware failure... I think I like girls better.... LOL Top man, top images! (V)

My own computer is a bit overloaded with crappiness and it's preventing me from loading my first render. I can relate. The only thing worse than a sick computer is help from an ass-backwards tech agent.

Outstanding! I love the way you have the two different personalities from the one character; angelic to the devilish. I hear what you're saying about DS and Bryce because the same thing happened to me. :( Apparently no one was notified of the needed upgrade, so yeah, I lost stuff I had in Bryce until I picked up the needed info in a DAZ forum of all places. Still, you still persevered and created one amazing piece of art. Brilliant!

Well, first of all, I absolutely love both of these renders-In a million years, I don't think I could pick a favorite!!! I do love B's expression, though!!!! As for Bryce-they STILL haven't come out with a patch to run it properly on the newest Mac OS!!!!!!! I NEVER know if my scene is going to open back up again, and it really sucks to work hours on a scene only to have it lost!!!! Hope they get their act together soon!!!! Excellent work, and I'm sorry for all of puter problems!!!!
