Hello there :)) Did you ever had a hike with Napoleon Soldiers ??? We had this opportunity last summer, when hiking in the French Alps :)) This shot is REAL : no changes, no composition except contrast ajustments and border :)) In fact, we met a group of "Napoleon fans" who were training as they seem to do it very often, using perfect copies of Napoleon soldiers equipments (including rifles) and they were on the way to find a place to train on shooting. We have been walking with them for a mile or so and let them in a field where they started to shoot on a target as if they wanted to be ready for a new Napoleon artillery field :)) You know, hiking is sometimes very surprising :)) I hope you will enjoy :)) Have a nice week, Hugs, Chantal

Ha ha ha, encoutered many strange things while hiking but never went back in time! :) Fantastic capture, what a funny thing to see these out-of-time soldiers! It will not even be that easy with ancient equipment to hike in the mountains! Excellent work, Chantal!

Yes I can see hiking is sometimes VERY VERY surprising! At the very first beginning I thought that the French army got a "new" uniform! LOL What a funny and so amazing scene! I'm sure that they do not neeed additional clothing against the cold! LOL Bravo I love this fabulous colored scene! V

Je peu just m'imagine comment cela serait inconfortable de nos jours porter ce genre de chapeaux ( anti-balle) avec tout iquipement qui paise environt 80 lbs, que les soldats doivent avoir maintenant!Quelle chaleur ce serait a subir!Es-ce toi et ton ti-mari sur la photo marchant avec les soldats?Tres original Chantal et assez surprenant ce hiking!Excellent clic!Bonne journee ma chere!:)
