Description

~ King ~ Not the true name of this beauty, but it fit his pose and mien so well. The picture used for reference was a photo of a friends horse. I've been fortunate enough to work with a lovely lady who also raises horses, and trains them. Sketched using graphite pencils ranging from b to 8 b. He's a black friesan, so tried to get that deep black. Brought into PSP 9, smudged using the chalk brush, added a bit of gamma adjustment to intensify his 'deep' black color. Framed and signature added. Many thanks to all who viewed yesterdays offering in the TG gallery. You all encourage me so greatly. I just love his dark eye!! That one eye seems so real and to have so much feeling in it. You do the Most amazing eyes!! The tones on his coat are perfect for that shiny blackness too! Beautiful sketch hon!!! :-)
