I took this 2 years ago in The Gambia - pre digital camera. Coz I is colour blind, it came as something of a suprise when I showed it to people and they remarked on the flowers: I thought they were just leaves!! We are going back in January, so maybe I'll find out what the bird is and what the tree is.

Sad that you have'nt a todays digital cam at this time because the composition is fabulous... A big V I understand the miss of quality!! Great shot anyway!

Oh wow, yeah, I can imagine you did not see those flowers as actual flowers! Quite an impressive image although heavily pixelised!

Wonderful effect Martin, even if this sort of camera. I love this composition, that reminds me some japonese art. V
