Richard, Love the post work..excellent job. Isn't fun to mix photos and come up with a new creation. Chevy's back in the day definitly ruled over other cars. Today, they're all the same...Cars were so much more fun back in the 50-60 era...great presentation my friend.

The '68 Olds 442 was no mean slouch either. I learnded to drive with a '48 chevy 2 door coupe, had a 427 ci 4bbl, Hurst 4 on the floor. Ah, thanks for memories, Excell picture.

Sure brings back the memories, but I don't recall them having engines that large. The firewall must have been moved back to get it in! I do remember "3-on-the-tree" and a dimmer switch on the floor. Gas was 26 cents a gallon.
