Description

The scene is dusk. The flying city of 'Bloody 32' hovers in the distance, as one of it's APC's float down for an evening of trading and partying in Trashtown. In the background sits one of the huge atmospheric purifiers that was built sixty years before, just before the fire times. It's powerplant gives Trashtown it's lights and power to function. After the fall of civilization, when the blighted Red-Howlers spread disease across the land, some survivors came to this place to start over. Now they have guard towers and walls to keep out the Red-Howlers, Scavs and Discards from their oasis of civilization. They trade finished goods for food brought them by Domers. The Domers live in huge neutral Farm Domes scattered across the world. Domers wear bio-suits outside of their pristine Dome envionments. They fear disease and do not associate with outsides now, unless they have to. They trade food to all. They are left alone by all in turn. No food--no survival. They apparently dislike most, and dispise the genetically engineered Scavs most, shooting them on sight. The Scavs are virtually immune to disease and can go into the deep basements and still valleys where cabon monoxide and carbon dioxide would kill all others. Trashtown is just the name given to the haven of life in Taru city. Taru City was the gleaming jewel in the crown of Balaam's civilization until the fire times. Those times recede from memory, as the survivors huddle around the last working power plants. Media is Poser 4 and Vue 4 [edit] I wanted to do a late afternoon rainstorm and nothing in Vue supports that. Well--HA! I wasn't going to let THAT stop me! I dinked around with alpha planes and such until I did a material that looks close to actual rain. You folks let me know how close I came

Actually Joel this is pretty good... So good i wonder did you actually go back and redo this? I introduced a friend of mine, a co-writer and associate Galactic League member to your story. He will Probably be named Wizwom or something very simular to it. In doing so i started reading the story from the begining again. This makes the forth time... Sigh. LOL!

Nope, original issue. If I'd gone back, I'd have fixed Bloody City 32 in the sky!
