I'm guessing those lines are strata, but I've not seen any quite like them before. Try more textures & colors and a different lighting. Well-chosen POV!

Very beautiful water, but you have to work on the surfaces.

The stripes are just two child layers with specific heights en colors. When I made this picture I was still figuring out how to use Strata maps. Now I know :D. Surfaces will be better from now on.
