In memory of Al Cyr who passed away on September 26, 2005 He was my boss for the short time I worked for him and I had a lot of respect for him. He was a cranky old bastard, not one to cross, but he looked after "his" people as best as he could. Even after I left his company, I would still recieve word about him and when I found out he was sick, very sick, from cancer that had gone after his lungs, liver, and kidneys, part of me hoped he would survive the cancer but part of me suspected he wouldn't last the year. It was known at the job that Al had a soft spot for me, which is why I, a former employee, recieved the phone call and the invite to attend his funeral this Friday. Wherever you are, Al, rest in peace, old friend. Heaven knows you deserve it.
