It looks like a spider to me, I don't remember if Dali was particularly fond of certain animals or not. The egg reminds me of Carlos Castenada's recounting of the human spirit coming out of your belly like a glowing egg. Maybe he got the concept from Dali. Anyway, great shot of a very cool statue.

Excellent shot of an excellent statue. BTW guys, Locusts, Dali had a pathological fear of them, and so of course he used them in his paintings. Weird. Pretty sure that's what is on the statue to the left of the egg. Thanks Pascale, very interesting.
