Description

My daughter is 11 today ...Chrissys bday was last week and Janel's is this week so real busy this week!!.. I took this shot this past August in my dinning room - loved the out line of her profile and early evening light comming thru my homemade curtains.. she is beading a necklance here and concentrating hard. (this shot was not posed for or planned just saw her there and ran and got my camera...) She is my little wondergirl... strait A student that always gets honors or citizenship awards every year at her school. Something real special about her sweet giving spirit -forgive me if I sound like I am bragging Mom, but I seriously feel so blessed to have her in my life and think she is close to being the perfect child...smart, good mannered , sweet and helpful..! So today I am honoring her with this shot of her... she was born 11 years ago on the morning of the most brilliant sunrise I have ever personally witnessed, and was concieved the night of the 94 Northridge earthquake!!!-we lived a few miles from there at the time! ( no lie ) It was the only night anything uhm..lol happened... and then boom the earth shook hard that morn in late Jan 94- it was the biggest Earthquake to hit in 50 years (in the LA area!).. lol so WHEN she came into the world things were shaken up!! when I first held her she starred back at me like an old soul even though she was only minutes old - hard to explain somethings you simply cannot expalin because they are spiritual. I need to go now, and wrap lotsa presents so I won't be on until' tommorrow!! love ya all !! thanks for all your time reading my long little notes here and looking at my work and always being so encouraging..!! love ya all! ..Ahh this is the beauty of film, is it not? Capturing a moment in time...a still-frame that triggers so many other memories.
