Description
Sometimes, no matter how much you push, the image you see in your head stays just out of reach...
Gotta give Credit to Daz for their figs/Danie&Marforno for the column, and 3Dworld magazine for the freebies I used in this pic.
Thanks for looking.

I think you did a great job on this one! I have the same problem today! I hate it!!

Well, I have NEVER done an image that turned out the way I wanted it to, and that's the truth, Pal!!!! (I want all of mine to look like yours, dammit!!!) I think both of these are fantastic-I don't think I could pick a favorite!!! I think you do the best job with textures-they always look incredible!!! EXCELLENT!!!

Whether it turned out the way you intended or not both are brilliant. Excellent work!

excellent pose/renders... I like the atmosphere on the right one better though... :) where did you get the wreath on her head? Cheers

Hehe! Love the "double version" pic - it kind of remind me of the "reality switches" in the "wheel of time" novels! :) I think i like more the right one - but tell you - this time it was a truly hard choice - they're both very well realized!! And worry not about the unsatisfactory feeling - i think almost everyone here get it most of the times - we all want our images to be perfect, but since perfection is a flaw... ;)

They have both come out nicely. Great atmosphere and lighting. The pose is good but maybe you have bent her right leg too much or should have painted a bit that crease on her knee. The compositions are very good and I like those floating islands on the right image.

Hmmm...hard to decide which one I like best. Love the shadow play in both. I know what you mean though. I've often had something stuck in my brain for a while with no way to release it because no matter what I do I feel that it does it no justice. I still admire your work!

If you read all my post here I know that I seem to just be saying critisisms and I have another one on this. The sword and how she is holding it seems to be fighting the rest of the picture. I think you could try having it angle down about 30 degrees and make it look more dynamic and that would give a reason for her arm to be as far from her body as it is. However that is the only thing that I find really wrong with the images. I love the scenery around her. Excellent work
