Description

in Los Angeles County we're feeling a heatwave with the Santa Ana winds pushing wildfires across two counties. i thought it would cool the situation by showing a winter photo i took in Yosemite National Park with Mirror Lake frozen over.

Heatwave huh? GEE THANKS!! Rub it in will ya...shivers.....its below 32F here now...winters coming quickly to these northern parts of Sweden...sigh. Beautiful shot this is. Really looks like a gorgeous place!!! Have a LOVELY time in the warmth...enjoy it while it lasts...then again...it probably never end for you guys...sigh...me envy. #:O)

i can never see this place enuff ,,, its the best place on earth i see this and think of my father.. he loved mirror lake when he was alive.. beautiful!

I tried to enter Yosemite a few years ago but it was closed because floods from melting snow had washed the road out in several places. I did get into the edge of it and it so beautiful as your picture proves!!
