Description

I tried to get the dark muted tones my grandmother got in her paintings. Poser lion and grass,Bryce Background.. O.K. i have got my computer back to normal and her is how i did it...To fix Poser, and this is something that i will do regularly from now on(or until curious labs can fix the problem) (this is the exact letter i got from tech support) Exit Poser and navigate to C:/Program Files/Curious Labs/Poser 6/Runtime/prefs and delete the Poser configuration file (Poser.ini), the LibraryPrefs.xml file and any Poser UI Prefs XML files that may be present. Leave the assorted folders that you'll find as Poser needs those. Poser will rebuild the deleted files with clean data when it launches. You will also need to reset any non-default preferences (external binary morph files, etc.) and re-add any external Runtimes you've been using, as that information is stored in the preference files that just got deleted. its kind of a scarey thing to do at first, but anytime your program locks up or crashes it screws up your preference files and starts to degrade and effect the program in wierd ways like memory loss and freeze ups..so now i do this anytime i have a crash...so it turns out that there was nothing wrong with my video card...this is also a problem in poser5 and is dealt with the same way. as for DAZSTUDIO after loading the 5.5c upgrade for bryce everthing worked again, but what a supreme hassle to get there.. also my local tech felt sorry for me and didnt charge me for his work..and thats another good thing that i made a friend in him..Things are looking up!

If all else fails use a hammer. If that doesn't work buy a bigger hammer. Wonderful image, the painted look is excellent!
