Description

This is based on a work by Michael Whelan(www.michaelwhelan.com). The pyramid is made from lattices created from a drawing made in PS. All the texture are default Bryce 5 ones, just tweaked slightly and some postwork in PS. About 3 hours start to finish. A special thanks to 4blueyes for providing me with the figure, since my poser was lost about 3 PC's ago. Also she asked me to thank Schlabber who made the pose. Thanks for looking.

very cool..I have been playing with scale stuff just like this. I'll have to wait to post now or it'll look like I am copying you....which isn't all THAT bad. I wonder what it would look like if you included one bit of color that is off the palate of the rest of the pick either on the guy or alongside him...to draw the eye even faster. Just a thought. I like this a lot.

This reminds me of an H. P. Lovecraft story: The Shadow Out of Time. Very well done, Phil!

Ha! Before I even read your commentary, I was thinking to myself... "This reminds me of some of Michael Whelan's work." You've pulled it off wonderfully!

h! ;) I've had the same idea inspired by the same work of Michael Whelan and I working on it at this time by on Vue d'Esprit. So, if I can obtain the same quality with atmosphere and light effects, that's would be fine ! ;) Very great job..... splendid !
