Description

I originally did this image using Poser 5, Bryce 5 and dedicated it to my Uncle Joe. Recently I found the Poser scene and decided to see how it would render in Lightwave. As always feel free to let me know what you think. I'm considering it a work in progress because I am not entirely happy with how it rendered. The moon needs work and now for some reason the scene seems to be lacking some complexity. I think I covered all of the prop, texture and object creators - Thanks guys Luv the stuff

Hmmm. Poser scene rendered in lightwave. How very topical. ;)

The image concept is really nice, and I hope your uncle liked it. From a more techincal standpoint, the scaling of your models needs to be checked to make sure that the illusion of reality is credible.. take for instance the palm width of the girl and the grip on the chopper's handle bars. Next, the default textures could use a bit of tweaking on the diffuse and specularity channels, right now they look a bit flat. Also try to increase the textural distortion on the water. Lighting here needs a more deliberate approach... turn down your default ambient and work on the reflected light cast by the moon. Perhaps a slight bluish tinge would help.
