Description
This was taken at the recent Duxford airshow, in between the rain flurries! This is Sally B, who is sixty years old this year and lives at Duxford.

Yes, thanks for sharing the image. I'm guessing this was the "G" model with all those turrets. It's a wonder she could fly 300mph and carry a bomb load. Good to see her engines are still ticking over.

This is indeed a small world! Was living in England 2000-4. Went to Duxford a couple of times amazing place much to see.Regretabley missed some of the flying events.Great image! DDDanny has a sharp eye didn't see it right off. :B eaver !

Well done Smallworld vary nice shot of Sally "B" I haven't seen her since before her major engine overhall in the 90's not many B-17's left now, may our childrens, childern see them fly.
