Description

I am trying to learn Photoshop every spare minute I may have; and I just hope it's okay that I post this picture. The background came from 'freefoto.com'- it said if I use it for personal use, that I have to mention them. And ... if this picture belongs in a different category than photography/animals .. don't be too hard on me .. I will kindly transfer it or remove it. I don't know all the rules. Anyway, the sunset came from freefoto.com. I took the picture of the goose last night during Ben's game. Geese were flying all over the place; but the sky was B.O.R.I.N.G., which made me hunt for a sunset pic. I hope it doesn't look too fake. Hope to build my creative skills more and more; with you all as my inspiration, some should rub off on me ........... right? lol Have yourselves a wonderful weekend!! Shari

You did awesome girl. Don't know if they'll let you keep it because of the other pic. You could have used mine or probably anyone else here at RR... We all LOVE TO SHARE. So proud of my star pupil =)))

Hmmm....and why didnt ya come to me for a pic instead of freefoto.com? I have plenty of sunset-shots. Then we could at least have called it a collaberation. #;O) Not that sure me neither when it comes to combining a stockphoto with your own. If they both had been yours, nobody would reflect upon it though. Im very impressed with your capture of that geese though. Have a lovely weekend yourself!!! ....and if it were up to me...IT WOULD STAY!!!! #:O)

I think the two go very well together, but I would have used one of my own sunsets rather than someone else's. As you build up your store of images, you'll probably have plenty of sunsets to choose from in the future. Sometimes I just shoot sunsets with the idea that I will combine them with something in the future. Good luck with Photoshop. You're doing great so far!

I think you did awsome combining the two. Maybe next time ask in the forum for a shot if you don't have one to use. Everyone there is so helpful. But I think you did great. Excellent work. :)

A very nice composition. I completely understand and identify with the need on occassion for a more suitable or dramatic background. The image of the gooose is so dramatic, it required it, lol.

You did a splendid job of combining the best of each photo, creating a tremendous mood. Your later work shows that you have excellent PS skills.
