Well done, very evocative atmosphere. Seems more sad & melancholy than creepy to me. I can't quite tell if the figure is moving forward or away from me, but either way he seems dwarfed by the huge gate, rows of tall trees & oppresive sky. Great work.

I also vote "masterpiece"! It's in the same mood as the great German Romantic painters like Arnold Boecklin who did Isle of the Dead. Art with a capital "A".
