SORRY ABOUT THE SIZE OF THIS BUT I WANTED YOU TO BE ABLE TO SEE THE VEIN STRUCTURE. I FOUND THIS TREE STUMP IN CRETE, I HAVE NEVER SEEN A TREE ROT IN THIS WAY BEFORE. PERHAPS WE OUGHT TO THINK HOW ALIVE TREES ARE BEFORE WE CUT THEM DOWN.
