Description

This is a perfected version of my previous Miki image. The nostrils are still light, but that is possibly due to there not being a material zone for them. For anyone who is interested in how the changes were made, please refer to the thread below: http://renderosity.com/messages.ez?ForumID=12356&Form.ShowMessage=2421921 Special thanks to face_off for all of his guidance and great ideas :) :::Rendered in Poser 6, Postworked in Photoshop CS::: Miki 1020 by e-frontier Real skin shader & OcclusionMaster by face_off Jessi's long strand hair from P6 Irises are blended between the image map and a cloud node with 2 shades of green. Anistropic nodes are on the irises and eyeballs.

The irises look very good. A hint of blood vessels on the eyewhites would be the finishing touch IMO. Teeth are wonderful! Excellent work.

Perfected isn't too far from the truth. svdl's right about the eyes, they do kinda make her look like a doll, but it's a minor nitpick and the hair -- o god tha hair!! -- more than makes up for it. Expression is good too.

There is a definate lack of contrast in the hair though the hair that falls behind the neck is as brightly lit as the hair in the front giving it a Flat painted on appearance

Actually that was intention to make it appear as though there was a little light from behind to match the background. It was accomplished by duplicating the main layer and blurring it. The blurred layer was moved to behind the main layer. Then the oil paint action was run on the main layer to create a new layer. The new layer was set to soft light and reduced in opacity to about 50%. Personally I don't think it looks flat and I like the effect that is present in the image...
