Description

Here it is, one year since I took the drawing class at the community college, and I am taking again! And it so happens that the teacher brought in the same objects for the first class this year as last. I think it is very interesting to see the differences and similarities between this year's and last year's renditions of the same stones. Besides being in color this year, I noticed that the contrasts are stronger and the landscape/location is more interesting in the later version. I am amazed, however, at how similar the "accuracy" or detail capture is. If you would like to compare the two, "Stonescape I" is the very first image in my gallery. Thanks for viewing, comments always welcome! Prismacolor colored pencils on Canson Drawing paper. 13" x 11".

Ah yes I rembemer the first one also .. is that already a year ago - man how time flies! I have your two pictures here in two tabs of my browser, and it is really fun to compare. You really are able to bring even more life into your drawings now, and the level of detail in those plants is amazing (you are a details man ;-) Wonderful work!
