Description

This is one I really like. It startet as something from LotR - and became something quite different. Hope you like it, too. Greetz, Yoro

i can see that great underground hall in moria here.. this is an excellent image, beautiful depth and lighting. my wee crit would be the similarity in the texture runing along the ceiling (a bit linear) nevertheless...i love it!!

Yeah, it's funny how you start out with one thing and it turns out to be something different but you like it. I hate it when it goes the other way lol. Your images is awesome, I love the look and feel of it.

Oh my goodness! This is one of the best, if not the best Bryce image I've ever seen. How long did it take you to render? And how did you do the lighting?

Thank you all for the nice comments, that means a lot to me! The pic is done in Bryce (Poser for the figure) - and loads of postwork in Photoimpact, where I made a lot of the lightings and the 'special effects' like particular smoothing and so on. It took about 20 times rendering till the end version, each something around 3 hours. At least I was busy with the whole thing for good 2 weeks - but the effort was worth of it, I think :).

Great pic the sense of scale is huge. This would work in a few scenes in LOTR.

Sensed the LOTR influence right from the thumbnail, but this is a wonderful and original work on it's own. Beautiful and invoking my imagination. Excellent and Well worthy of a VOTE

This came out great! Adding a person to the scene was a good idea, the hall turns from very large to gigantic and the visitor looks so lost and alone that it gives me chills.
