The colouring gives the image the impression of hot embers...and I've just been through a momentary lapse of reason..LOL. Funny thing is, they're damned hard to let go of. Excellent image though. Love it.

This was done in Apophysis?! WOW! I had no idea you could do such things with that program! I see I need to practice with it, lol! It's kind of freaky, really, since it does look rather like something from inside the body--almost like blood running through something--maybe corpuscles or something in the brain. I guess that's where you got the title (well, besides Pink Floyd, perhaps?), lol! Nice, nice job!
