Description

Taken at my Disneyland last Sat night in Adventure land. IT hit me hard that moment. The kids wanted to go on the Jungle boat ride . Memories of my Dad laughing, playing there messing around is a huge strong memory for me. He was the most playful person you could have ever met ,my Father. Losing a loved one comes in waves. I have written about it a few times before but this was a HUGE title wave for me. He used to love this ride. My Father always made it even MORE fun to go on and last Sat night it hit me like a brick- there in adventurland . Strong memories came flooding in dear to my heart. IT hurt.I just wanted to go home. THree kids were calling " Comon Mom , why are you just standing there ?!! lets go on the Jungle boat ride"!". I didn't want tooo!! nope . I had this deep down pain/feelings of loss that were gettin to me and hurting like hell. FOr those of you who have suffered loss you understand. . ANd then I looked up. no lie. and saw this sky. And it was like my Dad was with me. Suddenly I smiled and felt a peace inside - can't explain it but I let go. IT was like , that sky took it all away and told me he was with me in spirit. and so I shot this to remember it. It's another one of those special to my heart ..., - cannot really put in words ,cause it goes deeper to places of the heart. Thought I would share it today. Thanks for all your wonderful time and comments. luv ya all! ♥ ~ Kimmers

It seems to be a great picture but 145 kpix is a little bit "poor" to get a correct idea... Anyway, great colors!

Beautiful capture of this ray of beauty sending down a message to smile. One of the joys of having good memories is that its a gift for you to be passed down to your kids. Sharing the feeling of love is good. Aloha

A magic sky for a special remember, I've been touching by your words Kimmers, and your emotion is also mine. All those remembers are precious, even if they hurts us. I hope one day we could think to all theses moments without cry and suffer, but I don't know if it's possible... Thank you to share this emotion with us Kimmers, and take care of you. Hugs.

Oh what a deep feeling story and what a glorious taken photography with this so heartbreaking background, Kimmie! I think the emotion you had to go through between the need of the kids and the Memories of your Dad cannot be described! Kimmie I know such a beautiful sky can open emotions which cannot be explained! It can cause a positive or a negative reaction! The thoughts between yourself and to a beloved person feels like a thorn in the heart! So I fully understand your decision! Maybe a next time if you can see a blue sky only the emotion is completely different and you will enjoy the ride together with your kids! Oh Kimmie, I love this scene with this heart feeling background! **

I really like the sunrays cutting through the clouds and the silhouette of the building in front. Did you saturate the colors a bit, they are very rich. :0)
