Description

I played a gig with my band last night on the Kona coast at the Mauna Kea Beach Hotel right on the beach. This was the sunset that happened just before we played. For me to shoot a sunset is a 2 hour drive from my house, so I don't get to shoot them often..but it seems I am missing some great shots by not going often enough. Thanks for having a look, and have a great week everyone! Aloha!

Amazing sky, you're very lucky to have this kind of sunsets at only 2 hours drive from home, I think I would need 24 hours of plane ! I'm sure you made a great concert after seing that! bravo!!!

Beautiful! For a sunset like this, perhaps a 2-hour drive would be worth it once in a while!

A good capture. Probably you could capture the reflection on the sea water and make it a bottom heavy picture too..... if you are so close to this sunset. You sure are a lucky guy.;)

Ah, those beautiful Hawaiian sunsets! I guess it's easy to take for granted the sights in one's own backyard, but please keep passing these images along to those of us who are landlocked :)
