Description

Never seen this one before, but it must be fairly common. I saw many of them during my latest photo safari... Also, the orange and red bugs from yesterday are called Milkweed Bugs. They are quite poisonous, that is, if you would choose to eat them... ~;o}

If anyone tried to chew me,I'd hope they too get a poisonous reception. I like your creature: the interplay of comlexity and 'tother in that coat. Next time you see one, tell them that hiding is the game in the insect world. (is this a worthwhile comment? Well, its nice to know we each exist. Cliff.

An excellent macro of this insect. It has nice markings and color. I wouldn't know what it is, however.

This is one seriously funky looking bug. Great image of it! No bugs are poisonous to me because I'd rather die than eat one.

Hmmm, perhaps a Rosalia species? Dunno. But it's a wonderful capture of this remarkable bug!
