From an ongoing series exploring digital technology and decorative arts.
Faux Walnut paneling based on traditional 18th Century French Chateau. Made from scans of walnut wood veneer, hand painted, grisaille relief ornament, with custom Photoshop molding profiles.
Output as 36" x 96" large format digital archival print.

wow........simplement wow........ my job is to make the same but with brushes, oil based paint and glaze.... it takes me hours and hours to end up with that result... i didn't know it was possible to do it with a computer!!!
