Description

What my previously posted butterfly (the giant swallowtail) looked like in his former life. Quite a big change and for the better. :-) They are called orange dogs because they feed on citrus trees. When they feel threatened they poke out those red horns.

One of the most bizarre caterpillars I've ever seen. Keep it away from our Florida orange groves! :)

Wonderful. He has the look of a St Bernard. I have never seen the caterpillar before. He looks like a big armour plated chap. Thankyou for sharing the fine photo.
