A Fable: The war had been going for over 200 years. At first it was to make the world free and safe. That was what people were told. But after the first 10 years and several tens of thousand lives, it began to escalate. The fanatics, whose weapons came from the major power, began to run out of ammunition. They were secretly restocked by businesses in the major power. Also they were given the latest advances in technology. After all the business of financing the fanatics was just good business. News organizations were fed a constant stream of reports from the major power about the latest horrors being perpetrated (or seemingly so) across the globe and they passed it onto the people. Eventually the major power began to run out of men and recruitment was just not working. The draft being reinstated was just not an option so another plan was devised. It was decided that a great untapped source of unexploited manpower was in the poor and lower middle class. It was decided to entice them to join the military for the many job opportunites that it provided. It worked for a while. Business was good. Political people looked good. Unemployment dropped. After about 15 years, the pockets of well supplied resistors seem to be increasing and all over the globe. Billions were spent to try to track them down and little wars were popping up all over. Body counts hit the hundreds of thousands and finally the major power recruited from prisons or began to adjust the economy to get more people out of work. Also reproduction was encouraged through all faith based organizations and churchs as a new source of untapped manpower. But it was never enough. Finally they began to look for resistors. When they caught them, they given about 24 hours of training, a good meal and then dropped into no mans land. There, they would fight for sure. After all there was a war on... at last after 3 days, could finally get back on. was one of the biggest files i have made. tried to render in p6 but wouldn't. then imported into vue but it looked not to good so i rendered in p6 small sections and then pieced together in photoshop.
