Your stuff is getting better. But it seems to me you are trying to do too much too soon. I can not tell if there is a displacement map applied that is crushing the body shoulder and leg objects. Or for some reason the poly's themselves are malformed. Try ditching the map or replacing the funky body components with smooth standard primitives, and It'll look a ton better. The head neck and other components look well formed.

As Peter suggested, remove the bump map, nice idea, just needs a bit more tweaking...Cheer's :o)
