At first she was appointed by Rhys to destroy Kinno. Seeing as his indignation at her escaping had his temper flaring. But try as she might Bellonna couldn't even hit her, much less send her back into the Abyss. It was then that she saw and understood the scope of Kurai's protection and her curiosity drew her too close. The Huntress became the hunted and Kinno caught her and bound her into servitude; first through her cursed blood and then eventually by a bond even stronger than it... Friendship. Branded a traitor by Rhys, Bellonna fell into place in Kurai's growing army of the skilled, the beautiful, and the deadly. She found her new life in the light ten times more dangerous than the darkness she once served but also just as much more exciting and free. Though she was a true creature of the night, a full vampire unlike Kinno, Bellonna found herself shedding the shadows that had inked her soul even as she was lost to the day. Then Kurai in one shocking display of power gave her what she thought she would never see. Bellonna was given the ability to dwell in the sun unharmed for 3 precious hours; gaining nothing more dangerous than a slight tanning of her pale skin. She would never be the same. Finding hope of redemption in that one act, she would willingly fight for him to SAVE Kinno even if Rhys opens all the gates of hell against her... Bellonna is one of a series of freebie bonus characters in the FTCO series. Owners of one of the series will be able to select her or one of the others very soon. Ixlie (elsewhere in my gallery) is another. The third, Theda, will be displayed later. :) There might be even more than that eventually.
