This is my final belated birthday dedication in this series of belated birthday wishes... lol I am always late but my wishes are still sincere. ;-) If I have missed anyone who I have met here on Renderosity, I do apologize. :-)
This Autumn picture was taken just north of my home and I was very happy to catch these beautiful birds soaring above me. I'm not sure what they are but I think perhaps some kind of hawk. They were just gliding through the early morning mist that the sun was melting away. The backdrop being a mountain of blazing Autumn colors.
I dedicate this to ErnstHugo who just celebrated his birthday on September 29th. :-) Ernst is a very talented artist in many ways. He writes his own music, lyrics and beautiful poetry. He also plays and records his own music which is quite beautiful and sometimes haunting. Thank you so much Ernst (Micke) for your continued support of my photos and all of your kind comments! I do hope you had a wonderful birthday and that this coming year you will be soaring through the clouds as two. :-)

Maggie, great pic, colors are awesome..getting two flying birds wondrful..i think the birds are some kind of volture. There's probably some dead animal in the woods that they're planning on having for lunch. Now get well quick..Drink some OJ and get to bed early =))

rayburg is right, they are a member of the vulture family (in the Adirondacks they are known as "turkey buzzards"). Maggie, is that French Mtn in the background? Awesome capture!

Turkey buzzards?? Yikes! LOL Thank you ray and rufous! No...this isn't French Mountain but it sure does resemble it! This is a mountain just outside of Indian Lake. :-) The colors were brighter up there this past weekend. Nice to meet a fellow Lake George area photographer rufous!! Don't know how I missed you before?!?!! LOL @ ray...ok ok...going to bed ...:-p Thanks everyone!! :-)

Aaw, once again you prove what a beautiful human being you are. Soooo thoughtful!!! Youre telling me his real name is Micke? WHY OH WHY did you pick ERNSTHUGO as a nickname??? Ive been scared of him ever since i saw him drowning on "Anslagstavlan", LOL. He was a swedish actor if youre wondering Maggie. Im sure Micke knows of whom i speak....shivers. LOL. Bla bla bla...only 10 more hours of work..yaaaay!!! Who to bug next...hmmm. Oh, i havent even mentioned the pic...shame on me. GORGEOUS CAPTURE MAGGIE!!!!
